Miyashita-koen enbo

oct.2025

Inspired by Utagawa Hiroshige

The view from Miyashita Park, an urban park, reveals layers upon layers of railway tracks and streets, with the ever-evolving structure of Shibuya Station emerging in three dimensions beneath the neon lights. Meanwhile, beside the tracks closer to the front, small bars - each about 66 to 99 square feet - still light their lanterns tonight, preserving the lingering traces of the postwar black market. What questions do the ever-evolving story and the enduring value within it pose to us?
