隠田橋渋谷川

本作は、スペースインベーダー誕生40周年を記念して制作されました。渋谷で開催されたイベント内にて、他参加作家の作品とともにコラボレーション作品の一つとして発表。イベント開催地となった渋谷に流れていた、隠田川（隠田橋）の景色を描いています。

現在、川はもう無く、キャットストリートというファッションとカルチャーの遊歩道となっています。葛飾北斎が「富嶽三十六景」でここ隠田川沿いの隠田村を描いており、空の向こうに見える富士はその「隠田の水車」に描かれたものを引用しています。

Inspired by Utagawa Hiroshige and Katsushika Hokusai

This work was created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Space Invaders. It was presented as one of several collaborative pieces alongside works by other participating artists at an event held in Shibuya, depicting the scenery of the Onden River (Onden Bridge) that flowed through Shibuya, the event's host location.

Today, the river no longer exists, replaced by Cat Street, a promenade for fashion and culture. Katsushika Hokusai depicted the village of Onden along this very river in his “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji.” The Mount Fuji visible beyond the sky references the one depicted in his “Waterwheel at Onden.”
