Through the gaps between large music clubs and love hotels, up narrow alleys, the original landscape of Shibuya emerges with layers of time. Chiyoda Inari Shrine, which is enshrined at the end of an alley where restaurants huddle together, has protected this area since 1457. This street encapsulates the contrasting beauty of history and contemporary, sacred and secular.
